Brief History
TTT Limited was launched on August 30th 2018 by the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. the Honourable Keith Rowley.
The promise to air more local content on the nation’s television station was signalled in August (2018) during the launch of the rebranding of the station, when the name was changed from Caribbean New Media Group (CNMG) back to TTT – a name which dates back to August 24, 1962, when the station first came on air. TTT was launched one week before the country gained Independence on 31st August 1962. TTT Limited is a wholly owned State Enterprise providing broadcast, production and transmission services for audiences within Trinidad and Tobago and beyond.
